Questions auditors ask
Short answers on joining, credentials, competing without a name, fees, payment and reviews.
How do I join? #
Until launch, auditor accounts are opened by invitation from the waitlist on auditly.to. Join it, and you are invited when your credentials can be checked.
What does it cost me? #
Nothing to keep a profile or to bid. Auditly keeps a percentage of each milestone released to you; the rate is published before launch.
Why does the company not see my name? #
Identities are hidden on both sides until the company funds a contract with you. Before that, a company compares your rating, checked credentials, experience and proposal against other bidders on exactly the same terms. Your name and photo are revealed at funding. See your profile and credentials.
Can I see who else bid? #
You see how many others bid and their ratings, not who they are.
What if a credential cannot be checked? #
It is returned to you with the reason and does not show on your profile. Add a link to your entry in the issuer's public register, or a clearer upload, and it is checked again.
When am I paid? #
Per milestone, when the company approves your submission. The company funds each milestone before you start it. Settlement through the payment provider is not connected yet; until then a release is a record of what is owed, and the ledger says so. See payouts and reputation.
Can I work with clients from any country? #
The platform is built for cross-border work. The only exclusions are jurisdictions on sanctions lists.
What happens if a company sends a milestone back? #
Revise and resubmit, or open a dispute if you delivered what was agreed. A mediator decides. See deliver milestones.
How do reviews work? #
After a completed contract both sides write one; each is sealed until the other has written. Your rating is the average of published reviews and is what a company sees before it can see you.
Can a company contact me directly before a contract? #
Only through the platform's messages, where contact details are masked until the contract is funded.
