Find projects and bid
How to read a posting, what a strong proposal contains, and what happens to your bid.
Browsing postings #
Browse projects lists open postings. Filter by framework, engagement type, region and budget. A posting shows the company's scope, deliverables, timeline and budget range, and any screening questions, but not the company's name; that is revealed when a contract is funded. Save a posting to come back to it.
Writing a bid #
A bid is a proposal, built step by step:
- Independence. Declare any earlier work with this company. The platform lists the engagements it already knows about between you and the company and states the outcome next to your declaration; a bid that would compromise independence, for example auditing a system you implemented, is stopped here.
- Approach. How you would run the engagement against their scope.
- Milestones. Each with a deliverable, a duration and a price. A company funds and releases one milestone at a time, so the schedule you propose is the payment schedule.
- Price and start. The total follows from the milestones.
- Screening answers, if the posting asked questions.
- Terms. A summary of what you are committing to is shown before you submit; read it, it is what the contract will say.
The competition #
While your bid is pending you can see how many others bid and their ratings, not who they are. The company sees the same for you.
What happens next #
The company can shortlist, message you about the proposal, decline with a reason, or accept. Accepting makes your proposal the contract; you are told immediately and the workspace opens. You can withdraw a pending bid at any time; a withdrawn bid cannot be accepted.
When a company funds the first milestone, both of you see each other in full. Then: deliver milestones.
Invitations #
A company can invite you to bid on a posting directly. An invitation shows under My bids and in your notifications; it does not commit you to anything.
